What is SketchyPhysics and How Can I Get It?

Sketchyphysicsis a plugin written by C. Phillips for Google's 3-D program Sketchup. It allows the objects you draw in Sketchup to 'come to life' in a realworld simulation with gravity, collisions and interactions with otherobjects.

If you want to install it, you must first have the latest version of Sketchup installed. (It is free.) Then do a Google search for Sketchyphysics, and follow the links.

It is an amazing addition to Sketchup, but finding any help, even a simple starters guide is next to impossible.

Ifyou've seen the You-Tube video of even the simple car rolling down ahill and then tried to make it, you'll see exactly how frustrating SPcan be when wheels float in the air, the body falls off, or the damnthing just won't move!

SketchyPhysics 3.2 enabled! After extensive modifications from a number of artists here, I've ended up with this. Includes a small course to test out the SP on it. Originally it was supposed to be a Ford Raptor SVT, unfortunately it exceeds the warehouse's 10MB file. I've just included a picture of it in this model. Original rims - marian87 (modified now) winch - yantski.

My goal of these few humble pages is toprovide a starting point so anyone who knows Sketchup can startexperimenting with the physics.
